Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the services provided by Serene Cuisines ("the Company"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services.
2. Client Responsibility
a. The client must provide accurate and complete information regarding any allergies, dietary restrictions, or health conditions prior to receiving any services from the Company. It is the client's responsibility to inform the Company of any changes to their health status that might affect the services provided.
b. The client must ensure a safe and suitable environment for the personal chef to carry out their duties.
3. Services Provided
a. The Company provides personal chef services with a focus on holistic health. The specific services offered will be outlined in the agreement between the client and the Company.
b. The client acknowledges that the personal chef is not a licensed healthcare professional, and any dietary advice provided should not replace professional medical advice. The client is advised to consult their healthcare provider before making any significant dietary changes.
c. The Company will make every effort to source high-quality ingredients, prioritize organic and locally sourced produce, and accommodate the client's specific dietary preferences and requirements, subject to availability.
4. Pricing and Payment
a. The pricing for the services provided by the Company will be agreed upon in advance and outlined in the agreement between the client and the Company.
b. Payment terms and methods will also be agreed upon in advance and outlined in the agreement between the client and the Company.
c. The client shall be responsible for any additional costs incurred, such as ingredient costs, specific dietary requests, or client-requested service modifications.
d. All orders must be paid in full to Serene Cuisines at least 48 hours prior to the agreed date of the event or risk having the order canceled with no refund of deposit.
e. A $50 or 50% deposit is required for all orders and it is non-refundable.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
a. The client must provide at least 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee, as outlined in the agreement with the client.
b. In the event that the personal chef is unable to provide services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergencies), the Company will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide a suitable alternative arrangement.
6. Confidentiality and Privacy
a. The Company will handle all client information, including personal and health-related details, with the utmost confidentiality and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
b. The client acknowledges and grants the Company permission to collect, process, and store their personal information for the purpose of providing the agreed-upon services.
7. Intellectual Property
a. All recipes, menus, and any other intellectual property provided by the Company remain the exclusive property of Serene Cuisines. The client may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize any materials provided without prior written consent from the Company.
8. Limitation of Liability
a. The Company shall not be held liable for any health-related issues or adverse reactions resulting from the client's consumption of food prepared by the personal chef.
b. The client acknowledges that the Company does not guarantee any specific results or outcomes resulting from the services provided.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ohio, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10. Amendment and Severability
The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
